I want to record more!

Tonight marked my first experience of recording music, which is strange considering how long I’ve been playing guitar and attempting to get bands on the go. But, finally, I’m finally going to be recording some songs I helped write.

And I’m loving it.

There’s just something extremely satisfying about hearing your own song being played back. I know I hear it every time we practise it, but that’s not the same. You focus on staying in time and not making mistakes, which doesn’t really leave much time for listening. Being able to just sit back and listen to it is great. It may only be a rough backing track, but it’s a start. It sounds awesome now, and it’s not even finished!

Another great thing about it is the fact it’s just straight up rock. Not metal, just old school rock. Something everyone could listen to and enjoy! Really can’t wait to get it finished and let everyone hear it! Hopefully you’ll like it as much as I do haha.

The Cancer Bats right now! New album is a cracker listen, and the old ones are just as good! Really digging my hardcore punk lately. I needs more!
